Privacy Policy

Demonstrators Direct (“we”) staffs in-store product demonstrations. This policy covers the information we collect through this website, our Demonstrator and Vendor Registration forms and our text messages.

What we collect

  • When you register to work shows: your name, mobile number, email, ZIP code (and the town and state it’s in), experience, which warehouse clubs you’ve worked, and whether you’re willing to travel, and how you heard about us if you tell us.
  • When you register as a vendor: your name, email, phone number, company, how many sales reps you need, the ZIP code where you need them, any details you add, and how you heard about us if you tell us.
  • When you contact us: your name, email, phone number if you give it, company and message.
  • When you text us: your number and the messages you send.
  • When you visit the site: anonymous page-view counts (which pages, the site that sent you, country and device type) through Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
  • When you send us a form: the site or link that brought you here (for example, a job board), so we know where people find us. Your browser keeps it only until you close the tab.

How we use it

  • To match demonstrators with demo shifts near them and contact them about those shifts.
  • To answer questions and staffing inquiries.
  • To run and improve our staffing operations.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our email, scheduling and hosting providers, and only for that purpose. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from Demonstrators Direct, we use your mobile number only to send you messages about demo shifts near you and updates on shifts you accept. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of information sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
